Good news!
There is a Social Day Unit being held at the Day Centre in Alston Hospital. It is for anyone who would like to come along for some social interaction. There is no age restriction.
It will be held every Tuesday and Wednesday between 10am – 3pm. Volunteer transport can be arranged by getting in touch with the Surgery, who will organise this. You can, of course, make your own way there if you wish.
There will be activities, games, a quiz and crafts on offer or you could bring something of your own to do. Health Checks can be arranged, if you would like one, please mention this when you phone. Lunch is also provided.
It’s a social event, so a chat over a cuppa will always go down well!
